Dry runs completed in December for two days for Covid Vaccines

In India, dry runs were conducted in several states Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Punjab. Dry run consisting of several steps like the time taken for dispatch of a vaccine from a centre to a booth; scrutiny of beneficiary details in Co-Win software developed by the Union Health Ministry; training vaccinators; creating facilities for vaccine store among others was mainly to to test the challenges that may come during the COVID-19 vaccination. The dry run spread over two-days and was conducted in Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh, Rajkot and Gandhinagar in Gujarat, Ludhiana and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar in Punjab and Sonitpur and Nalbari districts in Assam.
