Increased case of Secondary Infection due to Covid-19

Recently, doctors have witnessed increased cases of Mucormycosis as a secondary effect of Covid 19. As the immunity declines in Covid-19 patients they become more susceptible to this fungal infection. Mucormycosis, is also known as black fungus. It is a serious but rare fungal infection caused by a group of molds called mucormycosis. This indicates that there may be more secondary infections that may be derived due to Covid 19 and even after the recovery, more care is needed.
