Agriculture laws: Protesting Punjab farmer bodies to hold talks with Centre on Wednesday

With the recent farm bills passed by the centre, the farmers of Punjab and Haryana are agitated over the implications of the bills in their day to day working. After holding protests for almost a month, thirty protesting Punjab farmers’ bodies decided to hold talks with the Central government over the farm laws in New Delhi. They, however, continue their ‘rail roko’ protest and called for a nationwide lockdown for six hours on November 5.
