Competitive breakdancing — will be a sport at the 2024 Paris Olympics
Paris Olympics organizers want breakdancing to be part of the 2024 Olympics. The sport was part of the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires last fall, when Russian b-boy Bumblebee (left) defeated Japan's b-boy Shigekix in the gold-medal battle.
The 2024 Paris Olympics will witness a new sport, and according to news sources “breaking” will be one of them. Breaking is a competitive form of dancing and those involved in the sport have been vocal about wanting it included in the Games. Most of the countries are ready for the games, if the confirmation of the sport is final in the Olympics.
