PM to launch financing facility of Rs 1 lakh cr under Agriculture Infrastructure Fund on Sunday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 9th august launched the financial facility of Rs. 1 lakh crore under the agricultural infrastructure fund through a video conference. According to a statement made by the PMO, the PM Kisan Yojna had a direct benefit of Rs.75, 000 to over 9.9 crore farmers which enabled them to fulfil their agricultural needs and support their families. The whole initiative aims to support the farmers by providing improved storage facilities and sell at higher prices, increased processing, reduce wastage and value addition.
